Lanca Contracting Limited successfully completed the Design-Build of this new multi-tenant commercial development in Paris, Ontario—one of Canada's fastest-growing communities and famously known as the "Prettiest Little Town in Canada".
The new 16,000 square foot commercial building was designed to accommodate a minimum of three tenant spaces, with the flexibility to support up to five units.
As part of the project, the site was fully serviced with new domestic water, sanitary, storm, and electrical services. A substantial 600-metre "Strong Wall" retaining wall was also constructed along the rear property line to maximize the usable development area.
Designed with versatility in mind, the building features a concrete slab-on-grade, 23-foot eave height, open high-ceiling spaces, and provisions for mezzanine space within each potential unit.
Constructed using a Robertson Pre-Engineered Building System, the exterior incorporates aluminum storefront glazing at windows and entrances, an EIFS system, contemporary stone veneer, and architectural metal panels. A prominent combination of architectural metal panel and stone veneer defines the main entrance, creating a modern and professional commercial presence.
